Having a day of irregularities, full of thoughts and ideas, but can’t seem to feel softer, sit on place and calm yourself down? And still want to have that healthy veggie treat? Vata does quite well with the soft beetroots and cooked carrots as they hold sweet taste and even are Sattvic in cooked form generally.
Dear Pitta dominant person, be a bit careful with this recipe as it has heating qualities. So choose a more cooling coconut oil and scale down with the spices.
But mainly, here’s a recipe for you, dear Vata constitution person:
Vatabeeter Fritters Recipe
4 Servings. Time to Prepare: 30-40 min. Best for: Vata dosha
You will need:
2-3 large beetroots, grated (I prefer cooked for more softness, but you can grate uncooked as well)
2-3 larger carrots, grated (for Vata, sweeter and ripe carrots are the best)
around 1/2-3/4 cup of oat brans (around 75-100g, you can replace it with flour of your choice)
2-3 medium to large onions, thinly sliced
3-4 large eggs
Some cumin, turmeric, dill, some salt and black pepper or any spices of your choice
Sesame oil (Sesame oil is one of the best for pacifying Vata dosha
Grate the beets and carrots with a large grate, add sliced onions, eggs and out brans. The consistency of your mix should be just slightly watery. Use your hands to press the mix into small balls or use two tablespoons to create slightly smaller fritters. Add spices little by little until it would suit your taste.
Heat the sesame oil on pan and cook the mix in batches until slightly crispy. The cooking process takes about 15 min

Haha!
It's more like an irregular hazy etherical salad pic, but look there are the those grounding fritters underneath!
Dive Deep dear eating selfhealers.
You can add some pesto or Greek yoghurt for a better bind and balance, I added some Greek yoghurt and chives. Eat slowly for the Sattva to increase. In joy!
